Tayrona National Park is a true paradise where some of the most spectacular beaches in Colombia, and possibly all of South America, are found. With its crystal-clear waters, white sands, and lush tropical forests, it is a destination that should not be missed.

Here are some of the best beaches you can find in this magical place:

La Piscina

Just before reaching Cabo San Juan, you will find La Piscina, a beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Its calm, crystal-clear waters make it an ideal place to explore marine life and enjoy a refreshing dip. La Piscina is less crowded than other beaches in the park, allowing you to enjoy a moment of peace and connection with nature.

Arrecifes

Arrecifes is an exotic and wild beach that will leave you breathless. Surrounded by turquoise waters, white sand, and virgin forest, it offers a stunning landscape that includes volcanic rocks, giving it a dramatic and beautiful touch.

Although swimming is not safe at this beach due to strong currents, it is a must-stop point to reach other beaches where you can enjoy the sea. The view from Arrecifes is simply spectacular, inviting you to take a break and admire nature in its purest form.

Playa Brava

Located three hours from the Calabazo entrance, Playa Brava is one of the hidden gems of Tayrona National Park. At the end of a wild trail, this beach is less visited by tourists, making it a haven of peace and natural beauty. If you are looking for a more intimate and tranquil experience, Playa Brava is the ideal place, and its camping allows you to sleep surrounded by nature.

Cabo San Juan

Cabo San Juan is undoubtedly the most iconic beach in Tayrona National Park. With its white sand and ancient volcanic rocks, it is a place you cannot miss. Although it is one of the most popular beaches and is often crowded with tourists, its beauty and charm make it an essential destination.

Additionally, it has a camping area that allows you to spend the night and enjoy the beach at sunrise when the crowd has not yet arrived.

Playa Cristal

Considered one of the most beautiful beaches after Cabo San Juan, Playa Cristal is the perfect place for diving or snorkeling. Its clear, calm waters are ideal for exploring rich marine life. You can reach Playa Cristal by boat from Taganga or Santa Marta. However, it is important to note that it can be quite crowded during the high season.

Boca de Saco

For those seeking tranquility and who do not mind nudity, Boca de Saco is the nudist beach of Tayrona National Park. Located a few steps from Cabo San Juan, this wild beach is quite peaceful due to its reputation. It is the perfect place for those who want to relax and disconnect in a natural and serene environment.

Bahía Concha

If you prefer a quieter and less touristy beach, Bahía Concha is an excellent option. Its calm waters and serene environment invite you to relax and enjoy a good grilled fish in the company of locals. You can seek refuge in the shade of a tree at the end of the beach and spend a restful day in this beautiful corner of Tayrona National Park.
